Arezzo is the home of two internationally acclaimed museums boasting the works of artists such as Francesco Petrarca, Giorgio Vasari, Piero della Francesca, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Pietro Aretini, Guido Monaco, Cimabue, Bernardo Rossellino, Mecenate, Francesco Redi, Vittorio Fossombroni, Andrea cesalpino, Francesco Severi ...and many more, who were born in the area. Along with one of the most beautiful old town centres, it is truly a unique destination.

The town hosts cultural and historical events, such as the Antiques Fair (Fiera dell'Antiquariato).This takes place every first Sunday of each month and the previous Saturday. An event that first occurred in 1968 and has since shaped the image of the numerous Antiques street markets that currently thrive in the rest of Italy.
Arezzo is also home to the Saracen Joust (La Giostra del Saraceno), one of the most important historical re-enactments, which takes place every year on the last but one Saturday of June, and on the first Sunday of September.

The town also hosts La Fiera Dell'oro; an international gold, silver and jewellery exhibition which showcases the best in Italian jewellery and attracts wholesalers and trade operators from around the world.

Food lovers can really indulge their passion discovering the numerous local restaurants and attending the many culinary events (Gusti & Sapori etc..) frequently organized. For the more adventurous guests, the local airport is equipped for skydiving lessons.
